The second picture I chose because I loved the way the early morning light made everything cast a blue hue. I am aware I could have fixed this with some adjustments on my camera but... I liked the way it turned out.
Starting January 1, 2012 I will be taking the 365 day photo challenge. The challenge is to take photos everyday and post the best one. I was encouraged to take this challenge by a friend that did the challenge for 2011. I can't wait to see what great photo opportunities come my way in the coming year! These are my photos. #61 Winter wonderland
If you read my post yesterday you know we got a big snow storm in Utah. So, today I left for work a little early expecting the roads to be horrible. Turns out they weren't so bad, and I ended up way ahead of schedule. So I stopped along the way for some pics. I chose the first picture because I love the contrast of the dark trunks of the trees against the white snow. Looks like it was shot in black and white, but as you can see from the yellow light shining from the gazebo, it wasn't.
