#309/4 Time

Today is daylight savings.   Did you forget to turn your clock back an hour?
As I was setting my clocks back this morning.   I started to think about time.
Mainly about how short life is and how much time we spend doing things we have to do instead of want to do.
I work 10 hours a day, but when you consider  the time I use getting ready in the morning, 40-50 minute comute each way. Almost 12 hours of my day 5 days a week is devoted to my job.  Now, don't take me wrong I like my job and it allows me to  enjoy the comforts that I call my life
But you add that to that the 6-8 hours of sleep that this old body of mine needs but usually doesn't get. Time spent getting things done around the house.  Cooking dinner etc.  There is very little time in a day for me to do what ever it is I want.
Today I am thankful for Time.   Time spent with friends, family.  Laughing and enjoying each other company maybe take in a movie, or enjoy a concert.  Time making  memories.  Time to read a good book or just sit and listen to some good music.  These times are precious to me. I am thankful for each second, and I want to make every single second count!
