#339/#340

I have been going through a rough patch the lately.  Things will work themselves out I am sure.  But meanwhile, I am just lying low and trying to let the storm pass. 
So, I really needed some things to keep me upbeat, and I was able to find them.
#339 Giving:
  Last year our department adopted a family for xmas.   It was so successful, we decided to do it again this year.  In fact we increased our giving. Last year we bought for a family of seven.   This year we chose 3 families with a total of 11 People..Here is our giving chart:

#340 Good news:
  Ok I know I am going to get some crap from some people about my phone.   It definetely is no frills, and I have dropped it so many times I am amazed it works at all.  Maybe the new year will bring a new phone my way.  But this blog isn't really about my phone at all.   It is about the text I recieved from my sister.
  Over the past year my BIL has been fighting Cancer.  It has been one thing after another.  Last week he had surgery followed by complications and two more surgeries.  It was really touch and go for awhile there.   Today I recieved a text that he is doing much better and actually walked around a little and even ate a little jello!  Yay!!!!!  Thank you God for yet another answered  prayer!
