I have a confession to make. I admit it, I get attached to my cars. I don't name them or anything like that... Oh ok you caught me, I do occasionally talk to them. My little civic and I have been together for awhile. She fits me like a glove and I love driving her. Well, a couple weeks ago I got involved in a little fender bender. No one was hurt, well.... no one but my civic.
The insurance gave me a rental to use for about a week. I had the chance to drive around in a 2011 Toyota Corolla. It was a nice little car. Automatic windows, with some nice little modern gadgets. But I have to say that after 2 weeks, I was happy to turn her in and get my Civic Back.
She has a few more years and a lot more miles. But she is mine. I plan on keeping her for awhile. And I am sooo greatful the stress of dealing with insurance companys and the collision repair people is over.( I will say that they were all great to work with and took good care of me.) But, I would be happy if our paths don't cross again.
