I love finding little treasures that I have tucked away for safe keeping.
Several years ago my Husband and I moved to Texas. I left a job that I had been at for almost 15 years, and had to do a resume so I could find a job in Texas. I got a job with a company called AMX. Loved it! I had the opportunity to work in the international sales team. The people I worked with were great and the dealers and distributors from around the world were wonderful! I had my own cubicle and was allowed to put up pictures and place plants around my desk. Had my own little haven right there at work.
After almost 5 years my husband and I decided to move back home. We are both from Utah and we missed HOME.
Once again I had to do a resume to look for a job. Then I had an idea. A wonderful , awesome, brilliant idea. This time when I did my resume, I made some copies to keep so that I would have the addresses, dates, names in case I ever needed to do a resume again.
Fast forward. 7 years later. Still in Utah : ). My workplace is reclassifying my job title and asked for a copy of my resume. So I pulled out my resume file to update it. When I opened it up, I found this :
At my job in Texas I had put all these little saying up around my cubby. At this time in my life I had started my positive thinking stage. When I was cleaning out my cubicle to leave my job in Texas I just couldn't bare to throw them away. So I had taped them all onto this sheet of paper.
Finding this made brought back some good memories of some great people and fun times. It brought a smile to my heart!
