The Australian Pink Floyd Concert is coming in August, and I have been thinking I would really like to go again this year. Last years concert was great!
This morning I was listening to The Arrow 103.5. The Arrow 103.5 is my listening station. I have a couple others that I listen to every now and then, but eventually I turn back to The Arrow.
They are having their 103 days of summer concert celebration and every weekday during certain times they give away concert tickets to a upcoming concert then at the end of the day all the winners from that day get to be in a drawing for $1,000.00 and all the winners that month get a chance at a drawing for a major concert at some other city. Paid airfare and hotel accomodations.
This morning at 7:10 they announce the upcoming concert is The Australian Pink Floyd and caller 10 wins .... So, I grab my phone and start dialing, and dialing, and dialing. Nothing but a busy signal. So I hang up my phone, but wait... a minute goes by and I thought, I am going to try one more time. This time it rang and when the guy picked up the phone and asked my name I was so shocked it took me a minute to remember what it was. The guy probably thought I was a total Dweeb. Yes, I won two tickets to Australian Pink Floyd. I didn't win the $1000.00 which would have made this post even more exciting, but, I am still in the running for the Drawing to go see Aerosmith in concert in LA! Whooo Hoo. Thank You 103.5!
